I’ve been a floater for a few years now, and I will be for the rest of my life!
When I started to float, my mother was diagnosed with cancer and she passed away 7 months later. During that time, I truly believe floating helped me cope with the enormous stress and grief that I was going through. It calmed my mind and my body and gave me extra clarity at times when I needed it most.
Now, I float for both physical and mental relaxation. Nothing calms the mind and the body like floating. I do not know how to achieve the same results otherwise. There is no other way to completely power down and shut the world out for that hour I’m floating. Oftentimes, I feel the effects of floating for up to a few days afterwards. I’d describe it as a general sense of well-being and I feel less edgy. I would recommend it to anyone. I think floating is one of the best tools a person could have to make their lives better. I couldn’t be happier with the Chicago Stress Relief Center. The staff is genuine and welcoming. They’ve created a completely safe and peaceful environment for their customers. I always leave with a smile on my face. I am so grateful for this place!
Thank you, Dr. W!
