Getting intimate with your partner is a great way to relieve stress and focus your mind on something pleasurable. Regular sex may also help prevent stress in the first place. An Arizona State University study discovered that middle-aged women who had sex with their partner reported feeling less stressful and negative the following day, and also had a desire to have sex again. Sex also makes our body release those wonderful endorphins and helps us enjoy a closer bond with our partner.
4. Get Enough Zzzzzzs
Although stress and worry can prevent you from getting a good night’s sleep, feeling well rested can make dealing with stress a lot easier. For starters, you’re less grumpy when you’re sleeping well. Research reveals that Americans would be happier and healthier if they were receiving an additional 60 to 90 minutes of sleep each night.
