The staff at The Chicago Stress Relief Center, Inc. will help you learn how to recognize when you are stuck with disturbing memories and will teach you ways to liberate yourself from the original memory that overwhelms you. Trauma resolution and energy healing, like EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), the Lifeline Technique, Neuro Emotional Technique and Thought Field Therapy promote healing on a multidimensional level — allowing the specific memory that is frozen in time to be processed to a less disturbing place. These techniques bring forth compassionate understanding and relief.
What is the LifeLine Technique?
The LifeLineTechnique™ is a simple, fast, and life-changing system of holistic healing, which expands upon the work of Dr. Masuru Emoto, Dr. Candace Pert and Louise L. hay, and other renowned modern day scientists who use ancient traditions of natural medice. The LifeLine Technique founded by Dr. Darren Weissman fuses thousands of years of proven natural healing practices, including acupuncture (without the needles) and Ayurvedic medicine, with modern therapeutic modalities and philosophies to create a revolutionary treatment system that is transforming our understanding of health and healing.
The LifeLine Technique empowers individuals by helping them become more conscious of the tools necessary for healing and becoming whole. The treatment uses applied kinesiology/muscle testing combined with the use of a flow chart. A person treated with this technique begins to understand the true meaning behind the symptoms and stress. During the treatment, one learns how the subconscious mind disconnects from the emotionall painfully experiences and stress are both interpreted and released in a completely safe and non-invasive way from wherever the sysmptoms are energeticall being held in the body. In most cases, one leaves the session without symptoms or experiences a decrease in the intensity of the symptom.
The CRCS, Inc. integrates energy medicine and other state-of-the-art techniques to provide you with a rapid and comprehensive healing experiences.
The chinese symbol for crisis is comprosed of two characters: "wei," meaning danger, and "ji," meaning opportunity. Often times, the stress we experinces feels overwhelming. It can rob us of our energy. It can trigger negative thinking that takes us far away from our truth. It can lead to fear and resentment that is like twin thieves robbing us of the moment. When stress is ignored, denied or internalized, it can lead to a serious crisis. The CRCS, Inc. teaches our clients to embrace stress and to use it as an opportunity to create a direction with purpose. Our formula for discontent creates a positive shift from the status quo. A crisis, therefore, can be appreciated as an opportunity for increased rootedness, balance, and increased flexibility. Additionally, the LifeLine Technique empowers individuals to live a more conscious life and is an exquisite complement to talk therapy and other trauma resolution techniques.

Since traumatic experiences can play a role in many problems, EMDR can also help with depression, anxiety and phobias, fears related to medical procedures, sexual problems, chronic pain, sleep problems, learning difficulties and performance anxiety.
Does EMDR really work?
Multiple controlled studies support the efficacy of EMDR, making it the most thoroughly researched methods ever used in the treatment of trauma. Learn more at www.emdria.org and www.emdr.com.

When a person feels very upset, the brain struggles to process information. One moment, or several, can become frozen in time. When negative memories are frozen in time... the past isn't the past, and it is time to do something different! Remembering that trauma can feel as bad as going through it the first time. In addition, such memories can have a lasting negative effect on the way a person sees the world, relates to other people, and lives one's life. EMDR seems to have a direct, beneficial effect on the way that the brain handles upsetting information. It allows normal information processing to resume, so images, sounds, and feelings are no longer relived when the event is brought to mind or triggered by a similar event. What happened is remembered, but it is far less upsetting. Additionally, sleep improves, one feels less sensitive to noise and often will report less startle reactions. It is not uncommon after one session to feel a greater sense of calm and compassionate understanding when thinking about the negative memory.
