Biography
Kim Close is a licensed acupuncturist and is board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She graduated with honors from the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine (ILAAOM). Her studies and practice focus on digestive wellness, immunity response, emotional health and fertility treatments. Kim uses acupuncture and other techniques from the eight branches of Chinese Medicine to effectively treat a wide range of conditions that stem from both physical and emotional imbalances. She believes in empowering her patients to be proactive in their own health by counseling them in diet, exercise, meditation, and other lifestyle changes that will promote long-term wellness. Kim lives in Chicago with her family. She enjoys distance running, theatre, and literature.
